Space Travelin’ is the second single (and visual) from Mega Trife’s fourth studio album, “Gold Ain’t Found Above Ground”. Space Travelin’ is a lyrical, as well as a sonic, journey through the space-time continuum. Produced by MA beatmaker Phil The Pain, listen as Trife takes you on a ride through the cosmos. Trife’s vintage sound not only rides the production beautifully, but the exotic theme of the song also transcends into the listeners subconscious and takes over in some odd, trippy hypnosis-sort of way.
I wanted to share this single with you for possible posting to your site, if it meets your approval. As Mega Trife continues to prepare for the July 10th release of his new album, this outside-the-box animated visual is a perfect representation of what’s to come – a wide variety of classic Hip Hop sounds packed with real lyricism, delivery and character.
“Gold Ain’t Found Above Ground” can be pre-ordered now at megatrife.bandcamp.com and will be available on iTunes and Spotify July 10th. Watch the first single/video off the project, “As Much As I Do”, here.
BIO: Mega Trife has worked with respected Hip Hop artists such as M.O.P., Termanology, Nature, Von Pea, Blu and more. The 2011 song “Anything You Heard About” generated buzz for Trife and his producer Nonsense as the lead single from their debut album, “Full Circle”. In 2014, Trife and Nonsense followed their debut with a solid, ten track effort entitled “2095”. Now venturing out on his own, Trife has enlisted the help of some of Hip Hop’s elite underground producers such as Statik Selektah, Khrysis, Rashid Hadee, and King Midas from the Houston collective, H.I.S.D. to create his new album – “Gold Ain’t Found Above Ground”. Trife’s work has already been featured on Hip Hop DX, Ego Trip and Hip Hop Site as well as numerous internet and college radio shows throughout the country.
